Insomnia struggles? Here's what you can do

You go to bed early, intending to get a good night's sleep. As you count down the hours until your alarm goes off, your anxiety builds as you toss and turn. Before you know it, you're waking up irritable and exhausted the following morning, and you spend the rest of the day feeling like a zombie 🧟 in a terrible mood.
There are several things that might keep you awake at night. It is not unusual to have difficulty sleeping on occasion. If restless nights are a regular problem for you, you may need to make some adjustments or consult a medical specialist.
What is insomnia?
Insomnia is defined as the inability to fall or stay asleep at night, which results in unrefreshing or non-restorative sleep. And it's a pretty prevalent issue that saps your energy, attitude, and capacity to perform during the day. Persistent sleeplessness might also lead to major health issues.
What to do when you can’t sleep?
When lying on your bed, think of yourself being embraced by a pair of loving arms 🤗, snuggling in the arms of your partner or someone you adore.
Instead of thinking about all the things that happened in the day, or thinking about the things you have to do tomorrow while lying in bed, write out your thoughts on a blank paper by your bedside (a term: brain dumping) ✍️.
As you lay your head on the pillow, roll your eyeballs up as if you're looking into your eyebrows, take 3 deep breaths, and close your eyes down 😮💨.
The action of rolling your eyeballs up, sends a signal to your mind that you are relaxed and ready for sleep. Repeat to yourself "sleep is coming upon me, it's the easiest thing to do '' 😌
Remember that you were born with the ability to sleep anywhere with any background noise level.
When you are a baby you can sleep even while eating, you can also sleep while your parents are talking to you. If you have that ability as a baby, you can reactivate and re-manifest that ability now.
