According to Tony Wake, a thought leader in the field of hypnosis,

hypnosis is any unconscious process that happens in the mind beyond your cognitive focus

Language itself is an unconscious process and as we use language to communicate our needs and desires on a daily basis, it is able to show us a thing or two about ourselves.

The language we use within our mind shows what happens in our psychology, this affects how we react physically to external events, and shapes our behavior towards ourselves, the people and things around us.

All actions and behaviors starts with a thought we have in our mind. And all thoughtforms are phrased in terms of the language we understand. Yet since language is an unconscious process – using strings of words based on our own understanding, it is important for us to know how the language we use and the words we speak to ourselves can influence our lives.

 

Here are some interesting examples of the meaning behind common words we use in our day to day lives:

  • BELIEF = BE + LIVE: When we use the term belief, we create a self-fulfilling prophecy. What we belief is to happen will happen because it is aligned with our thoughts and predictions of the outcome. The beliefs we have essentially becomes the life we live based on our perspective of the world and ourselves.

  • RESPONSIBILITY = RESPONSE + ABILITY: When we have responsibility over a situation, we have the ability to respond accordingly. When individuals are responsible for themselves, they are able to take control of their life and respond accordingly to how they want to live their life.

  • BEHAVE = BE + HAVE: Our behavior gets us the outcome we want. For example: I will behave nicely so my friends like me. It is the concept of being flexible to portray yourself in a certain identity to experience a desired outcome.

  • DEPRESSION = DE + PRESS: The act of trying to make something smaller than what it actually is. Imagine now the act of squeezing an inflated balloon. Saying “I’m depressed” makes you feel less than who you actually are.

  • PREPARING = PRE + PAIRING: Even if you think of something (pre), if you don’t verbalize or act on it (pairing with the initial idea), the results would not happen because the manifestation simply stops there. Pure thinking is fantasy, combining thought with actions leads to results.

Never say something unless you mean it 

 

Mind hack:

Focus on a different idea or behavior for 17 seconds consistently, and you’re adjusting your mental frequency to a different thought. This alone can change the outcome of an event and influence your life positively.

 

The magic in hypnosis is that you get:

  1. To direct your attention to what matters the most

  2. Bypass the critical faculty of the mind (conscious logical mind) by feeling the emotions

  3. Work out a problem from a heart based approach

  4. Stimulate and program the unconscious mind to give you your desired outcome

Intention creates expectation 

You can manifest your greatest desires and wildest dream.

The only question to solve is: how convinced you are of your own ability to do so?

 

What beliefs do you have in mind? Which are serving which are no longer helpful? Which beliefs are aligned with your values and the life you wish to dream, which beliefs do not belong to you but are ingrained in you through childhood?

First you make your beliefs and then your beliefs make you.
